Just the same as blocking contacts, you can repeat the above process and select the ‘-‘ icon to remove a contact from your Moment block list. If you have someone on your Moment blocklist here, they will not be able to see your Moment even if you made them Public from within the Moment. This controls general viewing and is not overridden by individual Moment settings. Select Post in the top right of the screen. Select Location, Share to or Mention to add extra flavor to your Moment. Add a caption in the text box that appears on screen. Select the ‘+’ icon to add someone to the block list so they cannot see your Moment. Select Take Photo or Choose Existing to use a gallery image.It uses the same blocklist principle as the rest of the app. You can set global permissions from your Moments from within the Privacy menu. It isn’t a universal setting so if you habitually want to share Moments with or without certain people, it’s going to become a chore. This is great for if you want to share with very specific people or block very specific people. This is set individual per Moment so is very granular. You can see from the Share to controls that you can manage who sees your Moments and who cannot. at the bottom right-hand corner to float your windows for easy access. If you want to shout out to anyone who appears in your Moment, this is where you do it. Select Moments under the Discover tab, then press and hold the camera icon.

Share List means you can manually select contacts to see it and Do Not Share List is a manual blacklist you can create to exclude specific works the same in WeChat as it does everywhere else. Share to controls who can see your Moment. It’s a one hit wonder and will add your location to that Moment and nothing else. Click that and you are ready to make a short video. Go to the discover tab and select Moments, in the upper-right corner of your screen you find a camera symbol. It is similar to Snapchat or Instagram stories and easy to find. This is disabled by default thankfully but if you’re out sightseeing or traveling, it might be useful to add your location. A new feature WeChat launched enables you to share short videos with your friends. You can select Location to show your location. There are no real editing features in WeChat so if you need to tweak your image you’ll need to do that before setting up your Moment. It will then appear in the WeChat page the same as if you selected Choose Existing. If you select Take Photo, the camera will open and you can either take a selfie or take a picture of your surroundings.
